the mircosoft fan boy

well i was sitting in my linux class today, and there is this kid in it that is one of those Bill gates loving queers, we were discussing the pro's and con's of linux, and he brought up the fact of it being "User Friendly," the term user friendly is a very relative thing, if you stick a person that has used windows for 20 years on a mac and he has never seen it then the mac would not be user friendly becasue he is unfamiliar with the product, same goes for if you stick a mac user on windows ect... you get the point. Linux really has come a long way from where it was just int he last 2 years, people complain that they still have to use the command line terminal, but most of those people are windows users and fail to recognize that they still have DOS running on most of thier machines and guess what DOS is command line. The same kid in my class said "but drivers are still harder to install on linux." my response to that is, bull. do we have the burning image of vista in our minds? wasn't vista the one that had loads of driver issues even if the hardware said it was certified for vista? i think so, linux might have a screwy way to install hardware but its not really that much harder, in most cases its fairly simple. then he was talkign about how updates dont work right on linux, well thats not true at all if you know how to add it to your list of repositories then it gets all your updates, and trust me its not that hard, im not an uber linux user, this really is the first time i have been all into it without windows and i have been doing it for 3 months and love it. But really i think that windows is not user friendly, honestly who has more viruses? mac? linux? or windows? we know that hands down its windows because it blows monkey chunks infested with the AIDs virus. I thought about microsoft in the car as i was driving here to work and really i consider it the pimple on my rear end, it goes away, but it always comes back to irritate the piss out of me. So for all of you Bill Gates Microsoft loving retards, get your facts straight about linux and realize that your operating system continues to try and copy mac os, and that windows just eats a weiner.
