microsoft is full of noobery

well as some of you may know, Microsoft is going to be releasing there "new" version of windows sometime within the next year, Windows 7. and frankly i think that it is hilarious that they are already scrapping Vista so soon because it is terrible. I just read an article about windows 7 and how it is is going to be releasing it soon so that it can take over the netbook market, problem is that it will be too late for microsoft to do that, most of the netbooks come shipped with a some form of linux, i know that Dell ships there mini 9 with ubuntu, and personally i would rather it ship with linux than any form of windows, truth of the matter is, i love linux, i run ubuntu at home on my 8 year old pc that could deffinatly could not run vista, but it runs linux great and it even runs better than when i had windows xp installed on it. why is that? maybe its becasue windows just sucks in general with memory usage and overall system perfomance, i can run my full operating system with full 3d effects on my desktop and World of Warcraft without using 600 MB of my system memory, can any of the newer versions of windows do that without modifying the registry? no they cant. and another thing that irks me about microsoft, why did thy have to release so many different versions of vista? why couldnt they do it like xp where they had home and professional edition? its kinda what they have done for years, even with millenium edition(which by the way is horrible) and 2000, it just makes no sense. Then the cost is really what gets me... why would i pay $400 for an operating system that sucks? when i could go buy a cheap mac and pay less for tehere most recent OS and it runs better? or i could just download linux for free, and it would even run ten fold better. im sorry if you are running microsoft products, sure i run server 2003 at home on another box, but the thing is i havent even turned it on for a few weeks and i only plan on using it for ventrilo because they suck and wont release a linux version even though it says under development, well it has said that for 5 years. and teh last reason is for itunes, but even then i may not even use it for that. but for all you windows users out there i have a reccomendation for you.... format that piece and install linux, or just toss that computer and buy a mac. linux and mac have pretty much no known viruses, because the majority of viruses are there to attack windows based computers. stop being a noob and being a microsoft fan boy/girl, get it through your thick skull, they arent inovative or cutting edge, they just keep trying to copy mac os.
