im not going to lie.......

i think i just about crapped my pants at work, I work at a data center and when the facility switched over to gens it scared me bad. I was minding my own business making sure that nothing was faulty and running good, and then i saw the lights flicker when i was near the controls for the generators, it made the loudest popping noise ever, and the best part about that was it was 3:00 AM, so I'm walking around sorta half awake then bam, I'm wide awake and my heart is racing at a million miles an hour and I'm trying to take everything in, so i was like i kinda know what I'm doing I'll try and call my co worker on the phone.... nope, for some reason they aren't working right yet. so i ran back to the my desk and just talked to my co worker and sat there and he took care of the rest. But yeah, you don't think my job is stressful? well you know what it is, its the fear of the unknown, we don't know when stuff is going to fail, and we have to be positive we know what we are doing. luckily everything turned out OK and its quiet again, but crap i hope that doesn't happen again for a while.
