valentines day = gay

well some of you may think that I'm bitter towards this so called holiday because i don't have a girl friend and I'm working, but you are dead wrong. i have hated this stupid holiday since the the first time i heard of it's existence, i remember being a little kid and being kinda excited about getting a stupid card saying be my valentine from a chick but when i started getting them from dudes as well i was like "wtf? i don't like dudes" (and yes i did know what he "f-word" was at that age somehow). but then as i got older and still hated it, i got a girl friend and then i had to spend money on her on pointless items just to say "i love you here is some crap i know you have no use for but i bought it because it is the cool thing to to so i hope you love me because i spent $100" really i look at valentines day as a big money pit, a waste, and a way to basically show that you have to buy someones love. it seems like in our culture and society that it is a day in which most people say "i love you" to their wives and significant others, shouldn't you be saying that everyday and not have to be reminded by a stupid holiday? and honestly what is up with cupid? some stupid naked baby that shoots arrows, honestly who ever thought of that idea must have been high on something... if i ever saw cupid, id punch that stupid baby right in the face, and I'm dead serious. its just physically impossible for a baby to shoot an arrow, they just aren't strong enough, so the mascot for valentines day is completely irrelevant to anything that makes sense. stupid naked flying baby.... i can understand that girls love v-day but why? so you can get some free gifts that really don't have much meaning because pretty much every husband or boyfriend you have is doing the same thing, it has no meaning, its just if he doesn't do it you would just be mad at him, really I'm a huge supporter of making every day special that you spend with a girlfriend or wife that does not involve making a baby. like seriously i hate this holiday it just irritates me to no end.
